SecretsSuddenly, the woods came to an abrupt end; beyond them was a dark pond. Beth walked to it, got to her knees, and looked over the edge at the black water. All she saw was her own reflection. Upset and frustrated, Beth sighed deeply and started to stand. She did not even notice the other person that had been standing next to her, until it was too late. All Beth heard was a low growl, and she was viciously grabbed around the throat by an icy hand.
